Who we are

Interlace is an AI video platform that turns documents, scripts, and prompts into finished, narrated video. Interlace AI, Inc. is the controller responsible for your personal data when you use our services.

Data we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account data. Your name, email address, password, and workspace details when you create an account.
Content you provide. The documents, scripts, prompts, brand assets, and other material you upload or generate to produce videos.
Billing data. Plan, transaction history, and limited payment details. Payments are processed by our payment providers (Paddle and Razorpay); we do not store full card numbers.
Usage data. How you interact with the product (features used, credits consumed, and similar activity) to operate and improve the service.
Device and log data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps, collected automatically when you use the site.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the service, including generating your videos.
Authenticate you, secure your account, and prevent abuse or fraud.
Process payments and manage your subscription.
Respond to your requests and provide support.
Send service messages and, where permitted, relevant product updates.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We rely on the legal bases of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal obligation, depending on the purpose.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

Sub-processors that help us run the service: AI model providers for script, voice, and image generation; cloud hosting and storage providers; and payment processors (Paddle and Razorpay). A current list is available on request.
Professional advisors and authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Sub-processors are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.

Your content and AI generation

Content you upload is used to generate your videos and is stored with our cloud hosting and storage providers. We process it to deliver the features you ask for. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request for organizations that need one.

International transfers

We may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect it.

Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account closure, we retain data only as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Receive your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, we do not sell or share personal information in that sense. Security

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
