Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance. A short video costs a few credits, and unused credits roll into the next cycle.
Getting started
Interlace turns a document, script, or prompt into a finished, narrated explainer video, in minutes, in 28 languages, on brand.
Click New video, paste a script or type a prompt, pick a language and voice, then click Generate. You can edit and export from there. The product guide walks through it step by step.
No. Interlace runs in your browser. The editor and export both work without any software to install.
Yes. The free plan gives you 100 one-time credits, enough for about two 15-second videos, at 720p export. Free exports are watermarked and not for commercial use.
Most videos generate in minutes. Time varies with length, language count, and resolution.
Features and capabilities
Yes. Upload a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, or MD file, or paste a URL, and Interlace structures it into a narrated video.
Yes. In the in-browser editor you type what should change into the chat, such as "Make scene 2 shorter", or press V to point at part of a scene first. Each scene's settings also let you edit the narration and the picture yourself. Preview renders are free.
Yes. Pick a track and it loops to fit the video. Interlace ducks the music under narration automatically.
No. Interlace focuses on narrated explainer video with on-screen visuals, not avatar presenters.
Yes. Ask the editor chat, or open the scene's settings to redraw its picture, replace it with your own, or edit its narration and re-record the voice.
Yes, API access is available on the Business plan for programmatic generation.
Yes. The Library stores reusable assets and saved voices.
Languages and voices
28 languages. You write once and publish multilingual versions with on-screen text and voiceover in each language.
Open a finished video, choose Add language, and select from the list. Interlace translates the on-screen text and generates a native-sounding voiceover.
Not yet. Recording your own voice is in early testing, available soon. When it opens, you record it in the app and read a short consent line, which we verify and keep on file. Only your own voice can be added; we do not accept uploaded recordings or other people's voices.
No. Interlace only supports voices recorded by the account holder, and we block attempts to add anyone else's. See [how Interlace handles voices](/company/voice-safety).
Yes. Browse the voice library and preview any voice before applying it.
Brand and styling
A custom style stores your logo, colors, fonts, an optional watermark, and the visual look of your scenes, so every video stays on brand automatically. Creator includes 1, Pro 3, and Agency 10.
Go to Library, then Styles, and click New style. The wizard takes you through assets, palette, typography, logo and watermark, a preview image, and a final review before you save.
Yes. Upload reference images on the first step and the analysis proposes colors and fonts to start from, which you can then refine.
If you apply a custom style with your logo, it is used across scenes automatically.
Billing and credits
Plans are credit-based. Free is $0 with 100 one-time credits. Creator is $29/mo with 1,000 credits, Pro is $79/mo with 3,500, and Agency is $199/mo with 10,000. Business is custom: contact sales. When you start a generation the estimated credits are reserved, and you are charged the actual amount when it finishes. A failed generation costs nothing.
Annual billing is 2 months free: you pay for 10 months and get 12.
Prices show in USD and are localized at checkout in INR, EUR, and GBP. International payments are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record (Paddle where enabled). Payments in India are processed by Razorpay.
Credits follow the number of scenes, because every scene is an illustrated image. As a guide: about 137 credits for a one-minute video, 254 for three minutes; regenerating an image 13; an AI script pass 1; subtitles in another language 1; server-side export 2 a minute. Preview renders, timing edits, and browser export are free. See /pricing for the live table.
As a rough guide, Creator's 1,000 credits are about seven one-minute videos or three three-minute videos, and Pro's 3,500 are about 25 one-minute or 13 three-minute videos. Actual usage depends on length, voice, resolution, and how much you regenerate.
Yes, on any paid plan. Credit packs are 500 for $19, 2,000 for $69, and 5,000 for $149. Packs expire 12 months after purchase and are spent after your plan credits. Unused plan credits roll over for one month, up to a full month's allowance, while your subscription is active.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your billing settings.
Exports and quality
720p, 1080p, and 4K. Free Trial is 720p, Creator up to 1080p, and Pro and above up to 4K.
Only on the Free Trial. Paid plans export without a watermark.
Browser export is GPU-accelerated and runs in your browser. For larger jobs you can use server render.
A finished MP4 you can download.
Teams and collaboration
Yes. Shared workspaces support roles and invites for orgs and teams.
Share a video with a reviewer, collect comments on specific scenes, address them in the editor, and mark the video approved.
Private review links you can send to clients, available on Agency and above.
Free and Creator are single-seat. Pro includes 2 seats, Agency includes 5, and Business is unlimited. Contact sales for larger teams.
Security and data
Dodo Payments acts as Merchant of Record for international payments (Paddle where enabled), and Razorpay handles payments in India.
Interlace uses AI model providers for script, voice, and image generation, payment processors, and cloud hosting and storage. See the Terms for details.
